I just have a feeling that if ND is undefeated, the "computers" put them in national title game. Interest and money would be huge.

Computers are only 1/3 of the rankings. ND doesn't get in unless two of the top 3 lose a game, and ND still has to win at USC.

I'm on his Twitter page right now. All he said is Kansas State's best chance to stay ahead of Oregon is if Notre Dame wins out too. He is on record as saying Notre Dame basically has no chance at finishing ahead of an undefeated Alabama, Oregon, or Kansas State. And as it should be, those three teams are all clearly better than Notre Dame.

Yes, because ND is ahead of Oregon in the computer ratings and that is what keeps KSU ahead of Oregon in the BCS standings since Oregon is ahead in the human rankings.

Yes, I am a Notre Dame fan, but I don't sit here and post in this thread every week OMG ND IS UNDEFEATED TOLD YOU WE ARE THE BEST SUCK IT HATERS. So I believe my opinion that the Notre Dame Haters are just as annoying as the Notre Dame homers isn't just ND homerism. Anyone on this board who really doesn't give a f*** about ND probably believes the same.

This X 100.

Maybe you'll fill more than 1/3 of the stadium then.

Agree with this, but kind of saw it coming. Game was delayed 1.5 hours due to the lightning, rain, and hail (not to mention it was 32 degrees). A lot of people went home. The AD is smart though, as they still made a bunch on ticket sales. You must buy season football tickets if you want season basketball tickets.

Oklahoma and Stanford are both top-15 teams.

Miami and Michigan are unranked but might win their conferences.

BYU and Michigan State have mediocre records but against a tough schedules so their computer rankings are high.

Purdue and Navy aren't very good but they're better than the two worst teams on most schedules. Most teams have a couple lower division MAC or SBC teams or even FBS teams on their schedule.

It will be interesting to see how big of an impact BC has on those rankings. I know Sagarin has them at 134.

Yeah, the BC and Wake games will drag the computer rating down, but the USC game will bring it back up a bit. It's not going to matter a whole lot in the big picture. Alabama is in the NC game for sure if they win out, and either Oregon or Kansas State would be in ahead of ND if they win out. ND needs losses, and Oregon is the only team I see that might lose a game.

Ball State won tonight! Upset #25 Toledo who was 8-1, and undefeated in the conference. Now that Ball State is 7-3, they have a real shot at a bowl game. Ohio is going to be a real tough matchup, but I can see Ball State getting at least 8 wins if they take care of Miami (OH) in their last game. I can't even believe that a 10-3 season is "technically" possible. Pete Lembo has turned this 2-10 team from 2 years ago around pretty quickly.

love coach fitz but he is beyond awful in late game/clock management situations

Glad Michigan won but it was a lucky heave that got it to OT. I'd be more upset at that 4th and 2 call.

Texas A&M up 20 in the 1st? Where's that Bama defense today?

A&M did the same to LSU and Florida in their two losses. Were up double digits in both games. Aggies still hanging in there. Can it actually happen???
