Via @gregaiello, Paul Tagliabue has "vacated all player discipline" from the #Saints bounty scandal.

Wow. In your face Roger Goodell. He better be careful during Super Bowl week down in NOLA, those fans are gonna be hunting for him.

I remember last season when Bears fans wanted us to throw a ton of money at Mario Williams

Or Nmandi Asomghua, remember him?

Or that Peppers guy.

There is going to be a book written about this sometime, and I want to know what happened here. Goodells case must have really been built on a bunch of heresay

The book will be written after Vilma's defamation lawsuit is settled out of court for a substantial sum.

The Mark Anderson signing was the weird one in that the Bills seemed to believe he was a 3 down player when he is nothing more than a pass rush specialist. So long as he is used solely as a pass rusher, he's a very valuable player.

I could swear I remember another team having this exact same problem with this exact same player. I wonder who that was, my memory is just a little hazy. What other teams has he played for? The Patriots figured out how to use him, yet the Bills cant, and some other team never could either. The Patriots clearly know how to handle their players better than the Bills, who is that other team? It can't be nice for them to be lumped in with a poorly coached and poorly managed team like the Bills.

The Texans. Duh.

Anderson was a mid 5th round draft pick. Who has been hit or miss in his career.

The fact that the Bears got anything out of him was impressive.

He has always been incredibly effective as a straight pass rusher and has lost all effectiveness when used for more than rushing the passer.

One of the worst decisions of the Lovie Smith era was putting Mark Anderson in the starting lineup over Alex Brown. Teams realized that and would just run straight at Anderson, which worked out well.

I wonder where Mendenhall will end up next year.

I remember watching him at Niles West. He just had another gear and high school kids couldn't touch him.

That gear is gone, maybe a strong offseason will help, but he'll likely be brought in as a supporting back or into a backfield competition.

@TyDunne

Marshall: I don't like the Green Bay Packers. I really don't like their players. I'll play this like it's my last game.

I love it. Hopefully Jay throws it to him this time, and not Woodson and company

Does anyone have any confidence in who will make the Super Bowl? I have no clue. Today I'll say Pats vs 49ers but my picks change weekly.

You can never count out the Giants if they get hot

In the AFC, I'd be very surprised if either the Patriots or Broncos didn't make the Super Bowl.

In the NFC, I think the 49ers & Packers are the best two teams, but GB struggles vs. the Giants and I don't trust the 49ers QB situation completely.

GB and San Francisco have struggled against the Giants. I think Kaepernick will end up being a good QB, but I think he might have some costly newbie moments in the playoffs

Brad Biggs@BradBiggs Brandon Marshall: "This is the biggest game of my career. I heard exactly what Tramon, Woodson said after the game. This is personal."

Marshall: "I have never felt this strong in sports vs. any team or any players."

It's too bad he can't play multiple positions - it's not like Marshall could play any better. Maybe some of this passion will rub off on the O-Line or our lazy secondary.
