Steve9347
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 08:29 AM) I think you could see a 9-6 type game tonight. Which means it'll be like 42-35.
iamshack
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 10:13 AM) I'm not sure. I feel like the Bears usually do well against running QBs, because of their speed on defense. (Although #54 is a tad bit slower these days) When Vick was actually good, the Bears usually contained him pretty well. I'm not so concerned about his running ability...it's more his willingness to try and make plays, whereas Smith is Mr Checkdown.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 19, 2012 -> 09:55 AM) Akers vs. Gould would be a nice match up. I need this matchup to dominate. Rooting for a 15-12 game.

southsider2k5
jon greenberg @espnchijon Bears were 7-point dogs. Saw the number online at +5 1/2 after Smith announcement. Now at +3 1/2-4.
witesoxfan
I actually think this could be a really good game. Keeping everything in context, I think these are two of the absolute best backup QBs in the league and they could both easily be starting somewhere. Unfortunately they are kind of right. When you have the 30th ranked passing offense, there really isn't much worse you can do.
SoxAce
Kaepernick is actually fun to watch. For that, I'll look forward on watching this game.

Not saying Campbell is bad or a bad option for a backup, but it doesnt matter where their passing offense is ranked, having a guy step in that hasnt been playing much and isnt as talented as the starter you can do worse. chw42
Conte seems to get the most absurd calls ever. Maybe he shouldn't have tackled Manningham when he was on the ground, but Manningham was in bounds and he was not down by contact. I don't see that as roughness... Soxbadger
That call was brutal. Bears defense needs to play way tighter cause Im not sure Kapernick can complete a pass over 30 yards.

Bears defense needs to play way tighter cause Im not sure Kapernick can complete a pass over 30 yards. The look on a couple of the fans they showed shows how brutal the call was. They looked like they had no idea what the flag was about. Edited November 20, 2012 by chw42
Jake
We're filling the box and making the passing game really easy. That said, that bogus penalty set up their entire drive.

Soxbadger
The passing game is easy because Kapernick isnt going take risks against a cover 2. Need to change it up because Im not sure Kapernick can do progressions properly.
Jake
No reason to pass there, especially that stupid play with nobody short. How many times does it have to backfire before Tice quits calling deep drops?
