Yes. Throwing out the challenge flag on a to or touchdown has happened almost every week, it's ridiculous.

If it could happen yesterday, it can happen any day. Like you said, it nearly cost the Falcons last weekend.

Updated Nov. 24: CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that Jay Cutler has passed all of his concussion testing and will start on Sunday against the Vikings. La Canfora reported on Thursday, after Cutler put in a limited practice, that he was expected to start, but the quarterback still had to be cleared by an independent neurologist. Jason Campbell, mercifully, will be relegated back to No. 2 duties. Cutler is no more than a QB2 for fantasy purposes, but he is one of the more undervalued players in the league. His return bodes well for the entire offense's outlook.

Good news. It turns out if the Bears lose, they drop to 3rd place and they suddenly gotta worry about making the playoffs, not just seeding.

Bucs, Vikings, Seahawks, all 6-4 coming into today go down while the Bears win. Playoff picture infinitely better than 3 hours ago. Now how bout a GB L

A Giants win would be great. Worried about all the Bears injuries though, Forte, Tillman, Louis, Spencer, Hester. Hope they aren't too serious.

His knee hit out-of-bounds about 1/50th of a second after his foot hit in bounds, and according to the ruling on the Dez Bryant finger roll, it shouldn't be a TD.

you're still upset that a guy who clearly lands out-of-bounds is ruled out?

Tillman didn't sound incredibly serious, the 2 linemen with knee problems are the ones that would worry me. The Bears can probably survive without Forte right now, he's not playing well anyway. Ditto Hester.

Personally I think Weems will be an upgrade. Hester is going to get cut at the end of the year. He's been awful. The lineman injuries are the big issues.

Hester is going to be the biggest part of cap room the Bears can clear this offseason.

It would, however, be nice if he could just get 1 TD return before the end of the year to get that record with the Bears, but alas.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Seahawks starting CBs Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner are both facing four-game suspensions for violating the league's policy against performance-enhancing drugs.

Per Schefter, Sherman and Browner are appealing the bans and "insist they are innocent." The substance for which they were popped is unclear, but their agents claim it's Adderall. Sherman and Browner are integral to Seattle's defense as physical press cornerbacks who make it incredibly difficult for opposing receivers to run pass routes. Sherman is more a shutdown-caliber corner. Browner is 6-foot-4 and more of a ballhawk. We should know more by early this week.
