GoodAsGould
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 12:05 PM) I hope KC trades for him. I don't know why you'd hope for that, if going to trade for a QB make sure he is your future QB.

WilliamTell
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 12:22 PM) Seahawks off to a s***ty start. Just like last week, but I don't think they can afford to get down by double digets. With that, an interception for Seattle.

Pack may have to consider if Capers is still the answer That was awful game planning. How do you not shadow a guy that runs like that? Stupid. Just because there isn't much out there doesn't make it the right move to pay for a mediocre/bad QB, I don't think either of those guys will be much more productive than Cassel and would cost draft picks. Obviously I don't want them to be stupid and trade higher draft picks for either one or anyone else for that matter. Only if it's the right price. I don't think Geno Smith is the answer and certainly not the number 1 overall pick either.

WilliamTell
QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 12:41 PM) Vick might be available. And with Andy Reid as the coach. Why not? Might as well see what can happen, haha. Better than using a high draft pick on a QB in a down draft year, and trading a high draft pick. Balta1701
QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 12:19 PM) Are Kaep, Wilson, and RG the style of the future for starting QB's? I don't think this is any more revolutionary than when Vick and McNabb came into the league. The number of guys who can both take the pounding of running 10 times a game and be an accurate thrower will always be prettiy limited. A guy might be able to be a revelation for a couple years but then have his body catch up with him and wind up forced into a pocket passer role just for survival. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 09:36 AM) Not too mention this is a completely different team with Kaepernick starting instead of Alex Smith. Good chance if Smith starts the game the Packers win. Smith took care of the Packers in week 1. Not sure that you can say that for certain. Kap was huge in the game though. Damn near 200 rushing yards out of the QB. Atrocious D by the Packers. Reminded me of what Wilson did to the Bears in the 4th quarter and OT. It made more sense after hearing Woodson and others say they didn't game plan for Kap to run so much. Capers dropped the ball on that game plan. Chisoxfn
QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 09:57 AM) Well carving up the Saints defense is something almost all QB's do lol, but yeah I do feel bad for him he was playing well and lost his starting gig because of an injury even if it was whats best for the team. Packers D is pretty bad.

Chisoxfn
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 13, 2013 -> 10:57 AM) (Unless they're playing Jay Cutler) Haha...I had actually thought about saying that. I think the big problem was the Packers were in man the whole game and you can't do that with a running Q. Packers D only shows up for the Bears (oh and Joe Webb). Other then that, they sucked this year. You didn't have to look past what the Vikings did to them on 2 separate occasions (when they had Ponderer). It really is sad the Bears can't do much against the Packers D. The big thing is, the familiarity between the teams is there. Hell, look at how the Rams play the Niners.
