Man does he still look skinny. I was hoping he would put a little more muscle on.

He looks exactly like a guy I know in that picture. The guy happens to be the tallest, lankiest person I know.

I'm glad Balta followed his pictures with the names of the players, as I had no idea that was Flowers.

Mark Gonzales @MDGonzales

KW on RV: "he is who I thought he was."

KW on Dunn: he's got to be more confident than I got to be."

KW on Sox's WS drought: "It's not as long as 100 plus years." Quickly states it's a reflection of Sox's previous drought, not Cubs' void.

KW: "we tried to create a roster where everyone pushes everyone."

KW on Tigers: "they replaced a great player with a great player."

Who knows what Herm did, but if anyone has ever seen the Documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" you would know a hardcore juice fast for a month or so could drop some serious weight and quickly. Especially on a guy pushing +400 lbs like Hermie probably was...

No way Herm was pushing 400 pounds. I don't think he's very tall. I would be shocked if he was over 300 before this, let alone near 400. A 400 pounds guy of average height can barely walk around normally, let alone trot from the dugout like Herm did (in an admittedly jiggly fashion).

Sale, Flowers, Floyd.

Did Sale lose weight? His is thin. Look at the "chicken" lower legs. That's a Jack McDowell physique.

False. I played semi pro rugby at 370...I'd say Herm was about 320 or so

And your height?

Yeah, Herm always looked short out there to me, at least compared to the players. Less than 6', probably by a good bit. Plus Herm doesn't have the muscle bulk a Rugby player would have. A normal, not extraordinarily strong person less than 6' at 400 pounds, would not get around like Herm did.

That said, he might be 320, I don't know, but 400 for Herm is laughable unless he is like 6'8" or something.

Watching some of these videos out there, Matt Thornton looks like he put on a bit of weight. Not a great sign.

He probably put on some weight after Sergio was traded. He was saying to himself.."what...they might make me closer again?"

Huh?

Probably referring to the bandage on his arm. I'd imagine from HGH testing which is reportedly requiring players to have 7 vials of blood drawn. Many players are complaining about it and how it's making them sick and feel like s*** well afterwards.

Really, they have blood testing now? Yay!
