southsider2k5
http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseb...0,2258653.story GLENDALE, Ariz. -- After missing the Arizona Fall League for the second consecutive season, catcher Josh Phegley reported that he’s ready to make an impression this spring. “I feel good -- surprisingly good,” said Phegley, a sandwich pick in the 2009 draft. “I had some rough patches the past couple years staying healthy, but I’m ready to go.” Phegley’s latest ailment was a sore left wrist that required a cortisone shot and rest. “They just said not to swing at anything for six weeks, and after six weeks I got back at it and felt perfectly fine,” said Phegley, who said he has worked out the past two months at Indiana University, his alma mater. Phegley missed the AFL after the 2010 season because of a low blood platelet count that caused his spleen to be removed. He batted a combined .242 with nine home runs and 56 RBIs in 116 games with Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte.
