Steve9347
I went over. I'm hoping he can get in the .230's, which for Adam Dunn would mean lots of production with his usual walk and power rates.
hogan873
I'm going with the over. I'll predict .238/31 HRs/94 RBIs
SOXOBAMA
I am going to say 252 avg with 34 Hr's and 95 RBI's for him this season
Greg Hibbard
If the Sox are out of it early, he'll hit .265/40/120. If the Sox are in it all year, he'll hit .198/22/76 I wish I could say it wasn't contingent on whether his team is competing for a division. The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (Greg Hibbard @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 10:05 AM) If the Sox are out of it early, he'll hit .265/40/120. If the Sox are in it all year, he'll hit .198/22/76 I wish I could say it wasn't contingent on whether his team is competing for a division. As much as I'm rooting for him to do better I have a feeling this may be spot on...that he'll get some jacks but really not be anything close to what the franchise had hoped for. Happens to every team at some point, you sign that big FA who just turns out to be s***. The Mo Vaughn's of the world. You can't predict it, it just happens. I could just see a scenario where Dunn turns out to be that guy as well.
southsider2k5
I'd say over .210.

IMHO they cannot be "in it" with those kind of numbers from Dunn. If the Sox are to have a chance, he'll hit .265/40/120. If .198/22/76, they are out of it. I wish I could see it anyway. I don't believe being out of it last year helped or hurt him.
greg775
.210 is actually a great over/under standard for him. I'd said he'll hit between .200-.215 with about 20 homers. The crazy thing is given the exact same at bats, Lilly probably would hit 25 or more bombs.
knightni
I'd say .240.
Bubba Philips
QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 01:32 PM) I'd say .240. We expected .259 avg so this year he needs to hit 320+

Quin
Adam Dunn will hit .400 with an OBP of. 800. He's in the best shape of his life.
