CanOfCorn
I could care less as long as his OBP is near .400.
Steve9347
QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 04:13 PM) I could care less as long as his OBP is near .400. First, when one says they "could care less" that means they do care. Also, it's hard to have an OBP near .400 with a batting average below .210. Thank you, though, for the post that yields nothing. That's a lovely response, although, one that also yields nothing.
GioHudson
I'm going OVER! .218 / 26 / 72 Numbers a team could get from dozens of minor leaguers. Although most of them could also field a position and run the bases for you, too. Oh yeah, and for league minimum.
JorgeFabregas
I'll take the under. Similar season to 2003, but with more games played and thus better counting numbers. Yes, I realize he hit over .210 in 2003.

Real
People will actually make the case "I didn't think it was possible for Dunn to have a worse 2012 than he did in 2011" after this season is over. Under, followed by a resignation of KW Edited March 7, 2012 by Real
chw42
Dunn looks to be in awesome shape, I'd say he has a chance to hit at least .240 this year.

southsider2k5
QUOTE (Real @ Mar 6, 2012 -> 11:24 PM) People will actually make the case "I didn't think it was possible for Dunn to have a worse 2012 than he did in 2011" after this season is over. Under, followed by a resignation of KW Seeing as his season was unprecedented in the history of baseball, it is just as easy to see something like this happening, as it is to see the guy getting back to his career norms. Texsox
I'm guessing another season like this, or worse, and he is out of baseball.
RME JICO
.243, hopefully near his career average.
witesoxfan
.210? Hell, this mofo is going to hit .310 with 50 homers, 50 steals, 30 saves, and 5 TD receptions. I don't think you realize quite how talented Adam Dunn is.

Texsox
If Dunn hit .310 with 50 home runs, there will be probes sticking in him places we don't want think about.

elrockinMT
I am counting on Dunn rebounding. What else can you do? If he doesn't there is something wrong with him physically for sure, or he is just washed up. I prefer to think 2011 was an aberration for Dunn
Steve9347
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 07:50 AM) And beating the Heat. Not possible.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 10:53 AM) Not possible. Adam Dunn is secretly Bill Russell.
kjshoe04
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 10:56 AM) Adam Dunn is secretly Bill Russell. Russell couldn't even play in the NBA today. At best he would be Ben Wallace.
Texsox
My concern will be how much the campaign as the GOP VP candidate will take out of him.
spiderman
I think he'll be in the .230-.245 range - I assume that will lead to an increase in HR's so hopefully this will get him back near 30 HR (and that is still a little of a let down playing half your games in US Cellular).
