Texsox
If him blaming Walker helps him, I'm fine with that. Somewhere else I read that positive reinforcement was lacking in Oz's approach. Whatever. Just hit.
greg775
How's Mr. Dunn looking? Is the ball popping off his bat with more force than last year? Is he looking like he has more of a clue?
witesoxfan
QUOTE (greg775 @ Mar 21, 2012 -> 12:45 AM) How's Mr. Dunn looking? Is the ball popping off his bat with more force than last year? Is he looking like he has more of a clue? 19 ABs, 26 PAs, 1 2B, 2 HR, 7 BB, 1 K, .263/.462/.632/1.093 --- I seem to recall seeing someone mention on here that he switched to a lighter bat. Is that true or am I imagining things? Because I sorta recall suggesting that last season because he simply couldn't get the SOB through the zone, and when he did, he was lugging it through so he had no bat speed. Lillian
One strike out in 33 plate appearances is the most encouraging and reassuring statistic to come out of this year's Spring Training. If that doesn't give you hope, then I don't know what would. I'm expecting a bid for Comeback Player of the Year. Quin
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 09:19 AM) The team's fortunes will likely rest on the four horsemen of underachievement from 2011: Dunn, Rios, Beckham and Peavy. IF all of them, or even three of them, get to where their talent/averages have been, this team will be well above .500. If, say, one or none of them recover in a meaningful way, I could see this team having a 2007-like record. War = Peavy Famine = Dunn Death = Rios Conquest = Beckham

Jake
He never had this good of a 24 at bat stretch last year. Therefore, he must be fixed
