He_Gawn
I honestly believe if Indiana isolated with Oladipo everytime, they could score nearly everytime.
Rex Hudler
Abell has struggled big time since conference play started. On a separate note, did anyone see the Michigan St. - Purdue game last night? Is it true that Purdue fans were chanting "IU sucks" while down to MSU by 15? He_Gawn
QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Feb 10, 2013 -> 02:01 PM) Abell has struggled big time since conference play started. On a separate note, did anyone see the Michigan St. - Purdue game last night? Is it true that Purdue fans were chanting "IU sucks" while down to MSU by 15? They chant that no matter what. I sat next to the Paint Crew 1.5 weeks ago when Indiana was in town. They chanted IU Sucks with 8 minutes to go in the game, DOWN 37 points!! morons
Balta1701
I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see Indiana come out and just smack Ohio State down and put them away early in the 2nd half here. I'm just tired of watching the opponent slowly fighting back as the 2nd half goes on. But yeah, that's the big 10 for me.
Rowand44
This is extremely random since they're on the road but the Oladipo chant makes me miss Nocioni. Victor is good btw.
Rex Hudler
Sheehey has got to make open 3 pt shots for this team! As I type that, he buries one. 1 of 3 today, all on good open looks. Need 2 of 3. He doesn't shoot them that often. Not going all Illinois fan on you, but that should have been Craft's 4th foul.
Rex Hudler
Random note: Thomas gets away with hooks an awful lot. That's not a comment on the foul on Zeller, but on a few plays earlier in the game. That said, he's a good player and knows how to make moves. Especially if they're going to call that non-existent one earlier on Yogi.
Buehrle>Wood
"Not going to complain about the refs, but I'm going to complain about the refs!" IU opens up a big lead now. This one is over

Rex Hudler
Biggest difference so far today... only 8 turnover's by IU. They had been turning the ball over at a rate good for 2nd worst in the Big Ten. Killed at Illinois. Let's hope that pace continues these last 3 minutes. Balta1701
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 8, 2013 -> 09:20 AM) I'll add that to the list of keys to beating Indiana: 1. Limit fast break points 2. Play them outside of Bloomington 3. Put on Wisconsin jerseys The only one of these that the Buckeyes didn't do today was put on Wisconsin jerseys. Rex Hudler
That was a foul on Craft, but kind of a cheapie. Don't think the ref had much choice since it was right in front of him.
He_Gawn
There's no such thing as a good loss, but Indiana losing to illinois may have finally woken their asses up. Feed the ball to Zeller and let him work. He's the best passing big man in basketball and it showed today. Very tough to beat when Indiana plays like this. If nothing else, today we turned around and faced the same "no fast break points" game plan that the Illini used, with a better team doing it, and succeeded this time. farmteam
Great win, especially since it was mostly the result of excellent half-floor play.

Thanks for joining the thread today. It's tiresome at this point. Just because you say it 100 times doesn't make it true, or more than any other fan base. Everyone b****es about officiating. Rex Hudler
Today was a perfect game to show how inaccurate it is to look at a box score after a game and complain about officiating based on FT's attempted. IU shot 22-28 at the FT stripe today. OSU shot 10-15. 17 of IU's 28 attempts came in the last 2:29 of the game as OSU was fouling intentionally trying to make up a 12 pt deficit. OSU committed the final 11 fouls of the game.

I know there are more of you, but when the Illini play (and you guys haven't given up on your team and are paying attention), the level of b****ing about the officiating on this and other forums I have been to is unequaled. It's not really even close. Well maybe close to Alabama football fans.... Sorry the truth is making you tired.
