IlliniKrush
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 06:39 AM) Merry Christmas everyone! Not quite, Thursday tops today.
IlliniKrush
BTW, does Louisville have the midwest regional now instead of IU? Edited March 17, 2013 by IlliniKrush
zenryan
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 07:43 PM) Mac title game is off the hook Akron! My dad grew up in Akron and him and seems like most of his family went to college there so it was nice to see them overcome their PG being a moron. Rowand44
QUOTE (zenryan @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 09:44 AM) Akron! My dad grew up in Akron and him and seems like most of his family went to college there so it was nice to see them overcome their PG being a moron. I have no clue what to think of them now. Loved them before Abreu got suspended then they looked awful for a few games and then they look great last night. Hopefully they play a tough 4 or 5 so I don't have to think about them too much ha. Rowand44
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 09:09 AM) Not quite, Thursday tops today. Well duh but today is still one of my favorite days of the yr. Week long Christmas. Or Hanukkah. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 09:13 AM) BTW, does Louisville have the midwest regional now instead of IU? I would think so.
farmteam
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 09:13 AM) BTW, does Louisville have the midwest regional now instead of IU? NOT COOL. I would think the outright winner of the toughest conference in the country would get it, but nooooo. I meant to go back and look at Louisville's schedule to remind myself of any good wins/bad losses they had. In any case, it's not like being somewhere besides the Midwest regional is an excuse to do poorly. Step up.
farmteam
Went back and looked it up. Only road win at Syracuse could touch IU's wins at Ohio State, at Michigan State and at Michigan. Louisville's best wins: Neutral court win over Missouri Home win over Marquette Road win at Syracuse Home win over Notre Dame Won Big East Tournament (includes neutral court wins over Notre Dame and Syracuse) Regardless, my last point from above still applies. Being in the Midwest is gravy, in no way is it an excuse to underperform.
cabiness42
BTW, does Louisville have the midwest regional now instead of IU? Lunardi says no, in which case I will have to stay off Facebook for a couple days with all the angry U of L fans in my news feed.

danman31
QUOTE (IowanSoxFan @ Mar 17, 2013 -> 11:40 AM) Being a No. 1 seed is overrated. Yes, but for the fans they care about having the local regions. That's not about the team, but about being able to go to games more easily. cabiness42
Yeah, but Louisville's losses are pretty legit. Wrong, Lunardi has Louisville in the Midwest on his bracket. He's switched it in the past hour or so. Not sure why. Palm still has IU in the Midwest.

Dick Allen
QUOTE (farmteam @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 12:03 PM) How good of a fit would Collins be at NW? Read on his wiki page he was the first ever player at Glenbrook North to play college basketball. Seems unlikely, even if it meant D-1 only. When his dad was coaching the Bulls, Brian Sloan played for Glenbrook North. He palyed at IU.
Rowand44
I wonder if that Ole Miss win oddly enough got them and MTSU in. I'm thinking MTSU and Lasalle are going to be your last two in. Tennessee out, Virginia out.
