Yeah, they look completely terrible.

I dont know who that team was, definitely not the team that took Duke to the brink on the road. One of the reasons I rarely watch road games.

On the positive side we essentially locked in a 5 star PF during the game in Mickey Mitchell so thats good.

IU gets a tough test Saturday morning against Minnesota. Will be good to be back in Assembly Hall.

Minny hits a tough patch in their schedule this week. @ Illinois Wed, @ Indiana Sat, and home vs. Michigan next Thurs to be followed by two more road games, including one @ Wisky.

Yes I know rankings don't matter. And id point this out even if it wasn't Illinois. But come on. You shouldn't be allowed to vote if you're this stupid or biased.

Wow that's dumb.

Of the five teams mentioned (Illinois, Cincinnati, Butler, Ohio State, Gonzaga), Butler actually scares me the most, but that's probably because I have sad/scary memories of last month's debacle. But with the way rankings work, Illinois should be ranked the highest.

Agree about Butler, but mostly because of Stevens' genius. I'd like to play Butler in March as odd as that sounds. I don't think there's any such thing as a "good loss", but IU has been much, much more physical and tough since that game. You could see in spurts last night that Hollowell was starting to "get it". Once Hanner gets there, the depth 1-9 is going to be something special. It's just got to get there. Hanner could really help against Minnys athletic front line.

So is the Missouri Valley just the Big Two and Little Eight this year? Have there been any big out of conference wins by someone not named Creighton?

Watch out for the SALUKIS...never mind. Sigh
