LittleHurt05
QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Aug 14, 2012 -> 07:26 AM) The Astros would probably settle for a 2 game streak at this point They actually won two in a row vs. Milwaukee this past weekend. However, that was preceded by a stretch of 4-34 baseball. Yowza.

southsider2k5
So is it time to admit that regularly pushing Peavy past 75 pitches last year is paying dividends this year, just like Cooper said it would? Christopher Kamka @ckamka Peavy by pitch count: Pitch 1-75: .228... Pitch 76+ .226. Last season: .247/.320. What a difference.
Noonskadoodle
The White Sox have agreed to terms with Victor Done, a 16-year-old righthander from the Dominican Republic. Done is 6-foot-3, 190 pounds with a solid delivery for his age and a fastball that has reached 91 mph. He has flashed a sharp 74-78 mph curveball that's ahead of his changeup right now. Done is from Villa Mella and trained with Tomas Giron. The White Sox have significantly increased their international presence over the last year. Since July 2, they have also landed Dominican corner outfielder Hanlet Otano, Dominican shortstop Johan Cruz and Dominican third baseman Luis Castillo. Noonskadoodle
6 foot 5 240 pound Daniel Black hit a grand slam on Wednesday & drove in 6 runs. The switch hitting prospect is batting .317 this season in 433 ABs with 16 homers & 75 RBIs. Where did this 20 year old 2B prospect Yolmer Carlos Sanchez come from? Down in AA he is batting .370 in 100 ABs. He is also a switch hitter. I also didn't realize Courtney Hawkins was called up to Kannapolis a couple games ago.
