whitesox247
Can someone give me some more info on this guy? I know he made his debut earlier and has had two great starts (against TB). What level did he come from and was he a highly-touted prospect like Cotts? Were those two starts a fluke or does he have really good stuff? Any info would be appreciated. Came from AA Wichita, where he put up very good numbers. He's a lefty, good arm, very smart. His first two starts were a fluke, but the kid is going to be, in my mind, a pretty good #3. How can you say it was a fluke? It's not ok to judge a guy after one start, but it's perfectly okay to do so after 2?

I disagree. There have always been good pitchers brought up from AA and been successful. Not all of them, certainly. But it does happen. Example: Dontrell Willis. We don't know if Gobble is a fluke or not.

Pretty much outside of Willis, the only guy is Rich Harden.
witesoxfan
Didn't Harden come up from AAA?
