This is the inning from hell.

Please let it result in Stewart being demoted to get a fresh arm up here. He's throwing 89 mph as a reliever! That's ridiculous, and it's really pathetic the Sox put him on the roster to start the season.

Might as well let the entire game fall apart.

Send Beckham and Stewart down to the minors.

Yeah I never thought I'd agree, but Beckham is not a major league hitter.

This isn't quite as heartbreaking as the early season losses in 2011, but it really feels like a kick in the gut.

Just for a week at least, we had a sense we could compete this season (mostly due to the starting pitching and bullpen before tonight) and now we've had our rude awakening.

Well this game went to s*** in a hurry.

Thanks to the two homers given up by our wonderful closer. Apparently not giving right handers easy fastballs to hit is to much of a task for Santiago.

He has to be demoted as you say.

No need to trot him out there again as a reliever.

Maybe he'll be the long long guy like Pena that one year.

When it's 9-1 in the third or something.

I guess we were due for a stinker, here it is, now let's take the remainder of the series.

It's more of a shocker than a stinker.

You can't blow 2-run leads at home with three outs to go and expect to be better than .500.

I guess we could look at it as we lost with our No. 5 starter going.

Key is to bounce back with starters 1 thru four and not let this game turn into 2, 3.

Heard that last year 10 different times.

This team isn't winning s*** this season if Dunn/Rios/Beckham/Morel continue to suck. Winning a game tonight (that Baltimore tried to hand to us) has no impact on how this team would do the rest of the year.
