Well that was a fun week of getting kind of excited about the Sox. Back to a painful and frustrating development year... And with Beckham and Morel it's gonna be a tough one. Youch...

How can you say it's not on the umpire when Reimold should have been struck out?

This is one of the reasons I hate stone. He goes out of his way to absolve umpires the way hawk goes after them

Hit the ball hard before Stewart went in!

Santiago was throwing fastballs over the middle of the plate. If you cant hit that you dont deserve to be in MLB

Orioles hitters are swinging out of their asses. Jones and Reimold look fantastic at the plate. Meanwhile, half our team seems to be feeling for the ball.

Only about 3-5% of major league hitters turn on those pitches in those locations.

They're a much better hitting team than the Sox, that's for sure.

Other than AJ, Paulie and Tank against offspeed stuff, we're horrendous.

Baseball players mumble the saying, "one game at a time" enough they better believe that tired cliche crap.

Tomorrow better have nothing to do with this game.

Win the f***ing game tomorrow, White Sox.

Agreed, if the team lets tonight's loss get to them, then they're not mentally strong enough to compete. Hopefully the organization starts making smarter decisions and gets Stewart the hell off the major league team, gets Morel out of the 2nd spot and send Beckham to the minors to see if he can salvage his sinking career.

Pathetic.

It didn't take long for the Sox bullpen to come down to earth.

It didn't take long for DeAza to inexplicably pull a Pierre and drop balls 2 straight nights.

It didn't take long for fans to expect Dunn to whiff every time up.

It didn't take long to lose faith again in Beckham and Morel.

Losing sucks.

Had we won 4-2 none of these thoughts would have entered my mind.

Our hitters can't draw a walk

So much for the focus on OBP that Nick Swisher was supposedly the trend starter with...so many guys on this team who don't take walks, it makes AJ and Ramirez look like Conor Jackson or Bob Abreu.

I would agree.

Put Fukodome in the second spot if you have to.

At least he's a veteran who hits in April normally.

Come on greg, this team was suppose to lose 90 games, have no expectations and 'appreciate the game'.

Let's just get em tomorrow.

Robin can bring all the attitude adjustments to the clubhouse in the world, but it can't make up for the fact that this roster has some abysmal black holes and players not fit for a major league roster.

Just hope Floyd and Peavy and Thornton can pitch their way to some awesome prospects and that Kenny can actually make a deal that acquires them haha

Right now GMs all over should be trying to locate C level prospects who either have a sinker, or that are athletic. Maybe a great 40 time. Promote a few to AAA, and tell Kenny he can't have them. He always gets his man.
