WOW! What a horrible at bat by a horrible, horrible player. Someone might want to wake up our manager and tell him he's allowed to pinch hit.

Just please bat someone else second.

I don't care if it's Rios.

How could Morel look like he had a clue the previous at bat and whack a single to center then against a hack not take the same pitch back up the middle or to right for a single???

Frustrating.

We stink.

What makes no sense to me is Ventura was batting Lillibridge 2nd a lot during ST. Watch Ventura let Dunn face a lefty to start the 8th.

Dallas McPherson 3B 12 50 10 15 6 0 2 10 27 2 19 1 0 .321 .540 .300 .861 2

Tyler Kuhn 2B 13 51 6 15 3 1 1 6 23 3 9 0 1 .321 .451 .294 .772 0

McPherson is terrible. We would want players that actually draw contact. Kuhn is a utility player at best.

Deck chairs on the Titanic, deck chairs on the Titanic.

Even if we can make some cosmetic changes and have a 9-7 or 10-6 run instead of 8-8 or 7-9, in the overall scheme of things, it's going to have no effect on anything but having a lower draft pick in the first round next year.

Greg and Rongey are right, lol.

When you pay someone $13-14-15 million to hit, they're not going to sit.

And they're not going to get things figured out watching from the bench, doing soft toss, taking extra BP or watching video from the past.

At least that's the theory.

It's amazing how many managers refuse to PH for these guys, all evidence to the contrary.

lol! lots of doom and gloom around here already. some players are playing some really, really s***ty baseball right now, but not all, not by a LONG stretch. Ref***inglax fellas.

Boston is playing bad too. I agree we need to relax, but you expect something different than last season. Maybe it is just around the corner? I hope so

This team turned me into doom and gloom the past 2-plus seasons.

I'll gladly return to the upbeat side someday.

It's hard to make the argument that Addison Reed has been so dominant and demonstrated the type of control where he's the surefire closer, either.

By years end I look for Reed to be the closer for a long time.
