caulfield12
Uh-oh, Mitchell matching the major league club, 0 for 3 with 2 K's. Down to .275. 18 k's in 51 at-bats, once again about what the major league team is averaging, 1 out of every 3 by strikeout. Santos Rodriguez was hit hard, too. Conor Jackson down to .224, Phegley still doing well, another hit and at .357. Edited April 20, 2012 by caulfield12
danman31
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 19, 2012 -> 08:10 PM) Uh-oh, Mitchell matching the major league club, 0 for 3 with 2 K's. Down to .275. 18 k's in 51 at-bats, once again about what the major league team is averaging, 1 out of every 3 by strikeout. He's also got 11 BB so you can't say he's striking out 1 in 3. Terry Doyle with 121 pitches tonight. Edit: not really. MILB updated the box, see below.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Terry Doyle flat out dominated. 8 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 11 K.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Brady Shoemaker went 3/4, 2 HR, 2B. Hitting .362 now. He is 24. It's time to push him to AA and see if he continues to hit.
danman31
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 19, 2012 -> 08:37 PM) Terry Doyle flat out dominated. 8 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 11 K. Doyle's line has been edited. He pitched 6 innings and Anthony Carter pitched the next two. I thought that pitch count was absurd.
caulfield12
At some point, it wouldn't hurt to give Doyle a shot in Stewart's place...and let Zach get some more innings under his belt as a starter again to work on things. Carlos Sanchez was 2 for 4, continuing his nice run of play (now at .347). Looks like Snodgress pitched a very good game, and Ravelo had 3 K's. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 19, 2012 -> 11:51 PM) Kenny Williams Jr. Who is batting leadoff in yesterday's game. Sad. Being a reliever seems to agree with Nevin Griffith.

OilCan
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 19, 2012 -> 11:51 PM) Kenny Williams Jr. Time to promote him to AAA so that Shoemaker can be pused at AA. There. Fixed.
