fathom
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 08:58 PM) Fuko kills one right at 3rd base. Two outs for Morel. Ugh, seen Fukudome do that already this year.
kageman129
"Yay" Morel up with RISP . . . Seems like he always has people in scoring position.

dyuen
All I have to say is when your 1b is batting 9th, your lineup either stinks or is phenomenal. In the A's case I vote stinks.

kageman129
I am shocked that Morel struck out with RISP. Dude is more worthless this April than last.

caulfield12
When you're looking for the fastball there and still can't connect, forget about it. With Beckham and Viciedo also (for now) in that same boat, we're not going to put together too many big innings.

jeffro2525
Damn it Morel. 3 hits in the inning and no runs. That's kind of a downer.

fathom
QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 09:01 PM) So Morel isnt very good zero tool player right now...he's really giving this team nothing right now. Who would have ever thought it would be the veterans we enjoyed watching hit this year and dreading watching our young players? caulfield12
What are the odds here the A's, despite their tepid offense, score against Sale here? Always happens. You have an inning where you should have 2-3 runs and end up with zero...
southsider2k5
Cespedes with a lead off single.
caulfield12
Can we please just sign Jorge Soler (haven't seen that name around SoxTalk for ages) and stick him at 3B, lol? Already tried it once with Viciedo. Why not with another Cuban? Except we might have the wrong Cubano.
Baron
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 03:02 PM) zero tool player right now...he's really giving this team nothing right now. Who would have ever thought it would be the veterans we enjoyed watching hit this year and dreading watching our young players? Yeah no kidding...its almost to the point where I dont want Gordon or Brent in the lineup on the same day. Its just a black hole when they are. southsider2k5
Cespedes has teh steal of second, but overslides it, Escobar gets another tag on him, and he is out.

Its just a black hole when they are. Morel should stand as close to the plate as possible. His current stance makes it way too easy for pitchers to throw to the outer half and either get the swing and miss or just a weak fly ball to right.
