greg775
QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 12:23 AM) Stoney will never participate with a 'YES' from Hawk. I understand, but it seemed like I heard something.
iamshack
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 06:22 PM) Actually I wouldn't mind couple more runs, I don't trust Santiago these days. Just don't throw the rh 4 straight fastballs.
SoxFan1
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 06:22 PM) So, how many people want to go through this thread and find proclamations that this game was clearly over and done with? Should we chart them by proclamation per poster or by total proclamations?
caulfield12
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 06:22 PM) So, how many people want to go through this thread and find proclamations that this game was clearly over and done with? 9 times out of 10 when you have 1st/2nd and the runner picked off 2nd and then another thrown out at the plate....ON THE ROAD....a major league team is going to lose that game. It's the fact that we might have the best bullpen in the major leagues (except for Stewart) that saved us. And it's STILL not over, YET.
Jake
I don't understand why Stoney won't do the yes. It makes it look like he hates Hawk. It's fine for him to hate Hawk, but he can't act like it.

LittleHurt05
QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 06:23 PM) Why are they cutting to the Bulls game for like 2 minutes? What's the point? Yeah, WTF. The game is already on CSN+ and it doesn't matter anyway. There we go, back to Oakland

Balta1701
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 07:24 PM) 9 times out of 10 when you have 1st/2nd and the runner picked off 2nd and then another thrown out at the plate....ON THE ROAD....a major league team is going to lose that game. It's the fact that we might have the best bullpen in the major leagues (except for Stewart) that saved us. And it's STILL not over, YET. Really? 9 out of 10 times? Because both of those situations mean you're getting a lot of runners on base, which is usually a good thing for scoring runs. Edit: The Sox have had at least 20 baserunners today and given up 8. fathom
So on Beckham's play at the plate, Farmer made it sound like Beckham was scoring without a problem. Must have been a strange play.

caulfield12
Maybe the key to this game was Ohman coming in and getting Weeks, Sogard and Reddick. At least at this point. The last 2-3 years, our back-end bullpen guys would have blown that game somehow....it was almost an automatic loss.
