I was referring to why they had him repeat the level.

fathom
Was Wilder responsible for signing Rienzo?
caulfield12
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 09:19 PM) Was Wilder responsible for signing Rienzo? Can't find it, but it (the signing) happened in 2006, so one would have to guess yes is the answer....since he was part of Silverio, Anderson Gomes and Paulo Orlando too, no way he wasn't intimately involved in all these transactions. Jose Martinez was signed out of Venezuela (being Carlos' son helped surely)....same year. Signed by: Amador Arias/Dave Wilder.
JPN366
The good news, he'll only miss around 10 or 11 starts and he'll be eligible for reinstatement just after the beginning of the second half.

Balta1701
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 11:36 PM) The good news, he'll only miss around 10 or 11 starts and he'll be eligible for reinstatement just after the beginning of the second half. There's no good news when a guy gets caught juicing, because now who knows how much of his performance was from the juice. He might come back and you don't want him back. southsider2k5
QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 26, 2012 -> 10:00 PM) 10 days ago I guess. I was referring to why they had him repeat the level. Wow, the minor league appeals process is that short? Supposedly the one at the major league level takes a couple of months from beginning to end. I was thinking if that was the case in the minors, they didn't want his disappearance for two months once his appeal failed to disrupt B'ham too much, which is why they didn't promote him. The Trib article mentioned they dropped the appeal after 10 days.
