NorthSideSox72
Let's get back on track, and for Danks to start earning that contract. Still in a virtual tie for first, still some favorable pitching matchups in this series. GO YOU WHITE SOX!!! Can you hear me now?

sunofgold
Danks is in the ace slot of the rotation. He has to go out and pitch like the 'ace'. C'mon Danks, pitch like a 2012peavy. You 5+ ERA is too high.

Leonard Zelig
QUOTE (Cali @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 12:26 PM) Another 5 ER performance from Danksy again? If he gives up 5 ER tonight, it will be the first time this season.
Bubba Philips
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 27, 2012 -> 01:47 PM) If he gives up 5 ER tonight, it will be the first time this season. A few years back it was Danks who seemd to break us out of a losing streak. So I hope he starts us back to our winning ways.

caulfield12
Didn't realize that Skowron made the All-Star team 8 times, once with the Sox in 1965. They made a big announcement before the Yankees/Tigers game. What did they do at USCF? Joking about how Skowron was teasing Farmer all these years asking for a free Mickey Mantle autographed ball...."You can afford it, Farmer!" Didn't Skowron get hundreds or thousands of Mantle autographed balls when he played for the Yankees? Probably how he funded half of his retirement years. iamshack
During the Red Sox broadcast they actually have a segment where they do a tour of the broadcast booth they are in on the road. Bizarre.
caulfield12
DeAza is an XB machine. Got to score this run. Horrible at-bat for Ramirez, no advance to 3rd. Still having troubles in the 2 hole.

caulfield12
Encouraging to see Dunn get so many walks this early season. Konerko with a chance to break it open early here. Didn't realize Skowron was a punter on the Purdue football team, played at Webber or Weber High School. Does that school still exist? Nasty slider to put him away after going after Paulie with all fastballs. Edited April 28, 2012 by caulfield12

fathom
Great approach by AJ...just missed a 3 run homer. Huge AB for Rios Rios looking bad so far this series. Edited April 28, 2012 by fathom
caulfield12
Just a few feet away from 5 homers and 18 RBI's. That hurts not to get those 2 extra runs there. Note to JD: Do not give the lead back to the Red Sox right away, thanks! Edited April 28, 2012 by caulfield12
