Some of it's on Robin. But some seem to believe Danks has this untapped potential that's yet to be realized. Please. He's a #4 starter getting paid #2 starter money.

He's looking more like Mark Buehrle now than he does Jon Lester.

Just taking time to check in from Vegas to say, what a monumental failure John Danks is right now. Thanks for the Javy Vasquez flashbacks!

If it was like Little League and you could only pitch 4 innings, he'd be a star!

Ventura's decision making has been less than impressive this year. I can't believe he left Danks in this long.

Most managers let their highly regarded pitchers try to go six innings.

This is on Danks ... epic fail!

Yeah, Greg's right here...The guy had retired 8 in a row to start the inning and then retired the first guy as well, and had thrown ~80 pitches. There was no reason to even have the pen up there.

There was no reason in the world for him to be facing Byrd. Ventura was probably worried they'd have Sweeney bat for McDonald, which is hard to predict in the 6th inning.

GMAB, by then it was already a 6-3 game. Big whoop.

Absolutely, Greg is right. But, this seems to be Danks' routine now.
