cabiness42 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 If I understand this correctly, teams will keep a permanent 3-game series against their "rival", and then play five 3-game series against an entire division, so one of every three years, the Sox will still play the Cubs 6 times. This realignment and tweaking of the schedule is the best we're going to get until the NL decides to adopt the DH and then we get full-blown realignment. Texsox Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 I would like to see the 2-2 plan. It is a 33% reduction but you only lose one game per year.
