oldsox Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 Buckner just turned 24, second year in the system. First Baseman. Had good year at Bristol in 2011, hitting .311 with 5 HR's. Now he is leading hitter at Kanny (.368 in 9 ngames). Don't know if he was hurt early. Late round draft choice out of WVU in 2011. Has a another good prospect at First Base ahead of him (Black/W-S), but good chance he will move up, so Buckner should get his opportunity.
