Dick Allen
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 6, 2012 -> 04:46 PM) Molina against the Indians' LH hitters? Haha. They just tore up Yu Darvish. I don't understand why the Sox are even bothering going to Cleveland. Take the forfeits and move on. Any team featuring Shelley Duncan is really too scary to play. You're honestly telling me with this post that you feel Nestor Molina is ready to face a major league line-up? Maybe the Twins, sure. You can even start Zach Stewart against them these days and get a victory. I mean REAL line-ups.
flavum
QUOTE (fathom @ May 6, 2012 -> 04:55 PM) Wouldn't Axelrod's next start have been against KC next Friday? There's an off day Thursday, so Saturday is that spot's day, but they could choose to move Humber up, so he's technically the 4th starter. I would like to see them get in line to Peavy, Danks, Floyd, Humber, and then the 5th starter. I'd rather have Peavy be the stopper after the 5th starter than Danks right now. So maybe Peavy will pitch the first game against Detroit in 8 days, and Danks will pitch back-to-back Tuesday's. They beat Yu Darvish..............why bother showing up?
JorgeFabregas
QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2012 -> 03:57 PM) They probably want as many fresh arms as possible tomorrow. In addition to Stults. Maybe Heath? Bruney? Shirek? Whatever the case, I hope Stults earns his way to more starts after tomorrow. Stults for the start, Quintana for the pen: http://www.southsidesox.com/2012/5/6/30035...ck-to-charlotte

Jake
Probably can't have too many lefties against this Cleveland lineup. At this point though, what is Hector's role?

Quintana will probably only be with us for the duration of this series against the lefty-heavy Indians.
caulfield12
White Sox now with 11 "homegrown" players who have been on their roster already this year. Although it's REALLY stretching it to say he's "ours" since his whole career was in the Yankees' system before this season. http://www.thebaseballcube.com/players/pro...P=jose-quintana
