Jim Fainter
We will never know what would have happened if the Everett/Alomar acquisitions were never made. Just days before, Rowand was installed in center and Harris at second, where they should have been to begin with, notwithstanding Rowand's early season futility. Both Rowand and Harris were playing well before the two trades were made. If those moves had been made a month earlier, we might never had acquired Ev and Robbie. Now, it's just spilt milk. Jimenez would most likely still be here if we didnt get Alomar, and I can promise you that we would be nowhere near where we are right now. I think we would have a rookie 2B, aaron Miles.
Rex Hudler
Everett has seven two-hit games in the first 13 days of August. I'd call that hot. He only hit .241 for the month of July with the Sox and is now at .302 overall with Chicago, so he has heated up big time.
Rowand44
Aaron Rowand has always been one of my favorite players on the sox, but please leave him on the bench and just let Carl play, even though it seems like Everett hasn't hit great yet for the sox, he has come up with big base hits to help this club win ballgames, and also there is no way that Carlos is a better defensive player then Maggs, that's not even an argument, Maggs is much better.
