1/8 of a season at rookie ball and 1/4 of a season at low A after being drafted, one full season at high A, 1/2 season at AA, 1/2 season at AAA before being moved into starting in the big leagues.

Danny Valencia was drafted at the same age and got almost 1.5x as many minor league PA's as Morel before coming up, just as a "prospect philosophy comparison".

Valencia can't play either.

Why isn't he being pulled? It's obvious he has nothing at all today. He needs to be gone

It's a double header, he leave him in there to die and hope we can win the second game? Can't burn the bullpen now, you don't know what Stults brings.

ERA up to 6.51.

We can't pull him yet because of the DH tonight, and Stewart pitched yesterday, too.

Humber showing obvious signs of frustration.

They're going to have to use Quintana sometime soon, though.

Kotchmann was 1/16 with RISP coming into that at-bat.

You're going to have to take him out of the game, despite the DHer. Humber HUMBLED.

Now Phil Humber has an injury problem.

Welcome to your rotation being Peavy, Floyd, Danks and ????/????.

19 earned runs in 12+ innings now since the perfect game (against BOS, CLE, CLE).

Wow, I'm shocked that he pulled him given the stuff we've been talking about. Ballsy move by Robin, but he doesn't want to be blown out with their chump on the mound. Let's go whoever comes in!

6.51 ERA for Humber. Considering where we are in the schedule and he has a perfect game under his belt, that's hard to do. This guy may wind up waived before long.

He'll get the rest of the year on the roster, but with Kenny seemingly pushing for guys like Quintana and Molina to get to the majors, Humber could end up in the bullpen.

Let's hope this is all related to the hoopla of the perfect game and his baby being born. Hopefully some time to get back in routine will help him -- he's better than this, has never had control issues.

He was pulled out of the game due to injury.

AJ Pierzynski made the call to the bullpen. Not Ventura.

Yeah, I wonder what degree of fabrication that was.

He tried...but s***. Humber showing no signs of competing at all out there. Humber just lost us two games today.

Let's see what Quintana's got. He needs to pitch until his arm falls off. Treat this like a start. When was Quintana's last start?

Welcome to the Major League Debut of Mr. Quintana.

"Home grown" product #11 this season, lol.

Humber's probably going to end up on the DL or the "family leave" list just to get him away from the game for awhile and clear his head. Hope the injury isn't serious.

Quintana has similar stuff to Stewart, Ohman and Axelrod, lol.

White Sox have the 2nd fewest bullpen innings in the AL. That's going to change after the end of play today, probably.

Not true...we'll still have Reed and Thornton for the 2nd game if Stults can pitch well.
