Fair enough.

I just had a feeling that the Sale situation, though, shows what a joke of an organization the veterans play for.

I mean the guy is 3-1 with dominant stuff. You take him out of the rotation and the veterans aren't dumb. It's like a white flag trade of sorts.

Sale ... outta rotation.

Axelrod or other rag arms ... in? Yikes.

The white flag would be just shutting Sale down (which might not be the dumbest thing)...I think the Sox stubbornness to stay relevant in the division is the only reason that Sale is still going to be apart of the team.

Viciedo for Fukudome...let's do it.

Even if we don't pull this one out, it's nice to see us only have to burn through 1 reliever (who looked awesome) while the Indians have used 2 of them, with Perez warming in the pen.

I wish I could be as optimistic as you.

I just see it as a s***ty loss with the sweep coming tonight on a bad road trip, our first bad road trip of the year following a disastrous homestand.

It's hard for you to be optimistic when you are being so overly negative. The sky isn't falling.

Typical 6 runs scored and still lose. Sox score just enough to lose a close game. Need a split tonight.

I believe this is only like the 2nd or 3rd time this season where the Sox have scored more than 4 runs, and lost the game......

EDIT: Yeah, just looked it up. Only the second time. So no, not "typical", at least not this season.

LOL terrible managing here for Acta to have Brent face the lefty

I don't think so. Lilli's a .172 hitter and Dunn's the guy who can beat you...and you want him facing a LHP. Even if Lilli does something positive, odds are it isn't going to tie the game. What does he have? One double?

When they score 9 give up 11............score 6 give up 8...................pattern well established.
