When did francouer become this legendary rightfielder that Hawk is telling me about?

He's always been very good defensively.

Who shared this with the Hawkeroo is the real question.

You love Dewayne Wise, Escobar should be your bestie on this team

Of course I liked/loved Wise. He contributed and the fans inexplicably booed him. Escobar has done nothing yet and is insignificant not booed.

Hawk is the patron saint of sucky outfielders. Carlos Gomez would be leading off on his all suck team.

So, if we gave Escobar a starting position right now, you'd like him?

According to Steve Stone, he was very concerned about the pain in his elbow and HE was the one who wanted an MRI. The Sox were fine without one.

so first it was tender and sore, now there was pain? if there was pain the sox would have done an MRI immediately.

that's what they looked like back in the day. they straightened it out for the new logo.

I know, I'm just blithering on about petty things :)

No, cause Escobar has done nothing; Wise produced and still is in baseball, on the NY Yankees. Just as Juan Pierre is still in baseball.

From what I understand, Chris wasn't sure if that was normal soreness, and so he communicated that to the medical and coaching staffs.

Sore and pain are about the same to me. The Sox examined him. The found it to be a muscular problem. PTACT, who is a trainer of some sort, (although he might not play fantasy baseball so he might not really know what he's talking about) said an MRI wouldn't show anything more than the exam the Sox gave him. It didn't. He wanted the MRI.

And Escobar's produced just about as much as Wise, you just don't like him because it's only great to overplay a backup player if it's Ozzie Guillen.

They're clearly not.

Yes, very good. Hawk gave him one of his patented "best I have seen in my 53 years of baseball...."
