chw42
Vernon Wells can't hit, has no range or speed, but can still rob home runs. Son of a b****...
caulfield12
Poor Gordon, even when he does put a good swing on a ball, that happens. Meanwhile, 0/5, 2 K's, 6 LOB, .197 average. Ugh. Well, we have his defense at least. Edited May 17, 2012 by caulfield12
Quin
Gordon's been putting the bat on the ball lately, just right to people.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Thornton on the 8th. Well, I guess Addison Reed may get his save opportunity afterall.

LittleHurt05
1 out. Bases empty for Sir Albert. I think the Sox unleashed the beast
ChiliIrishHammock24
Ok, I am having a brain fart here. A save opportunity comes when a team is up by 3 runs or less, or when a reliever comes in and if you assumed all the runners on base were runs, the team would be up by 3 runs or less, right? Say Wells doesn't rob that HR and the Sox are up by 6 runs. If Thornton loads the bases, and then Reed comes in, that becomes a save opportunity, right? caulfield12
With Trumbo an absolute beast, Morales on the mend, Trout (well, forget his defense)...the Angels are going to be there for sure as well until the end of the season. Assuming the back end of the bullpen holds up.

caulfield12
Brent Morel says "Thanks, other Brent, for making my BA and OPS look better comparatively." Sample size, sample size. But Morel's heated up to 420 OPS, Lillibridge at 402.
ChiliIrishHammock24
I love when Rios smashes those linedrives to right center. Looks so natural and easy for him.

Jake
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ May 17, 2012 -> 06:17 PM) Nice bounce back win It seems like this team has more resilience than what we're accustomed to seeing. I say that with hesitance because I think MLB ballplayers are much more mentally tough than we give them credit for.
