Thad Bosley
Nice at-bat for Alejandro there. Some good two-strike hitting off the leftie.
caulfield12
Didn't realize we were tied with the Blue Jays for the most blown saves in the AL, with 7. Thought it was closer to 4 or 5. I remember the two Santiago ones, two to Thornton, one to Reed when he came on with the tying runner already on 2nd with 2 outs...seems like there was at least another one to Thornton that maybe we came back to win the game? (Yeah, missed the Friday Cubs' game, that was he blew where he got the win on the Beckham save). Ohman didn't have a blown save in the Peavy/Tigers game last week in the 6th, did he? greg775
QUOTE (Baron @ May 20, 2012 -> 07:40 PM) Cant believe Im saying this but itll be nice when Orlando Hudson gets here. Hopefully he can actually hit and play 3B. Hopefully he's a younger version of Oldmar. Omar was OK at third but couldn't hit.
ChiliIrishHammock24
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 20, 2012 -> 03:40 PM) From the angle of the ball bouncing up from the street, it looked like it short-hoppped the building across the street. According to my Google Earth measurements, Flowers hit that ball about 440.

Yep....he doesnt need to light it up. Just provide some sort of hitting at the back end of this lineup.
sin city sox fan
If we win today, do they present the BP Cup after the game? Or do we have to wait for the series in the Cell?

greg775
If this game continues on like this and we win, what a dominant sweep this would be in Wrigley. Only halfway through; obviously a lot can happen. This still could be a 9-6 game or something like that.
greg775
I wonder what Peavy said to Dunn there. He seemed happy at the big guy stabbing that blast.
