Jerky. Here is the scoop on De Vries. He sucks.

Twins purchased the contract of RHP Cole DeVries from Triple-A Rochester. The Twins designated Jason Marquis for assignment on Tuesday, so DeVries will take his place on the active roster. The 27-year-old Minnesota native has a 4.01 ERA over parts of six seasons in the minors, including a 4.24 ERA and 37/7 K/BB ratio in 46 2/3 innings over eight starts at the Triple-A level this year. We're not expecting much in fantasy leagues. May 22 - 12:27 PM

Me and my wife met this old pooch yesterday at the Cell (Benjamin his license plate said). He could use a nice looonnnggg winning streak. Go Sox!

I bet he still could beat Konerko to first base.

Mark Gonzales ‏@MDGonzales

Sox lineup: De Aza cf, Beckham 2b, Dunn dh, Konerko 1b, Rios rf, AJ c, Viciedo lf, Ramirez ss, Hudson 3b, Humber p

Shouldn't Viciedo be swapped in the order with Rios? Come on Robin.

Snoop Dog is throwing out the first pitch. USCF is going to smell like Old Comiskey Park's upper deck tonight.

whatever do you mean by that DA? Please explain

The Indians sure are playing well.

Yet does anyone think they're gonna stick up in contention? The fans sure don't.

So, technically... The Sox are in first place haha

If Detroit can't put together some serious wins, then yes, they'll stay in contention, as will the Sox. The only way that those 2 teams aren't in contention is if Detroit runs away with it. They're both ~.500 teams with some room for growth.
