Jake
We're making a move for first place as of today...I don't need to hear about any trades that hurt this team.
Princess Dye
But isn't the larger fear this: We chase something that won't happen right now, when we likely have a golden opportunity to totally restart an organization that totally got depleted over the last ten years. The extra wild card will make people willing to deal like never before. Which side of that do we want to be on?

iamshack
QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ May 25, 2012 -> 08:04 PM) But isn't the larger fear this: We chase something that won't happen right now, when we likely have a golden opportunity to totally restart an organization that totally got depleted over the last ten years. The extra wild card will make people willing to deal like never before. Which side of that do we want to be on? Unless you really hit big (like Carlos Santana for Casey Blake), what are you really going to do by making such a move?
Jake
Quintana not as precise as his debut, probably because some of those lefties (Shoo in particular) have pounded his fastball

caulfield12
One pitch pitcher now. Can't even get his FB over. Needs the slider and change, and has lost his confidence in both of those pitches. A couple of times when he was ahead in the count, he got hit on his breaking stuff so he's totally gone away from it. Have to keep reminding ourselves he has less AA experience than Molina coming into this season. Choo and Kipnis, both LH, giving him the most problems, interestingly. Have reached 5/6 times. Zach Stewart warming.
