Rowand44
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 28, 2012 -> 03:54 PM) This is one of the best pitched games I've ever seen, when you count both pitchers. Straight f***in filth. Why can't this game be at the cell?
Jake
I can't be mad at Alexei given the quality of pitches that he's missing

caulfield12
http://www.mangphoto.com/btp/html/news/htm...layer_3293.html Harshman was a lefty. So he was the all-time record of 16 K's in 1954, and obviously the record for a Sox lefty as well.
Quin
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 28, 2012 -> 03:54 PM) Straight f***in filth. Why can't this game be at the cell? Because than Hudson's would have been out. JD sighting!
Baron
QUOTE (Jake @ May 28, 2012 -> 03:54 PM) I can't be mad at Alexei given the quality of pitches that he's missing Well If I was him I would just stand there and not swing. Everything he is throwing him is away.
2nd_city_saint787
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 28, 2012 -> 04:51 PM) You'd have to think that with 95 pitches, at best he'll get the 7th inning to tie the White Sox all-time record of 16. Can't imagine he would get pushed up into the high 110's or low 120's. Guess it depends on how Chris is feeling, but you just can't afford to chance it. 23 pitches last inning, and a few foul balls. Only four "regular" outs. At best he'll strike out the side for 17.
kapzk
Sale has thrown a lot more sliders today, its a big risk letting him go for more than 7 (~110pitches)

caulfield12
Bunting? LH/LH match-up doesn't usually end up well for hitters against Sale. OOps, forgot Johnson was a switch-hitter. Great play by Orlando Hudson down the 3B line. Saved a run possibly, definitely would have been runners on 2nd and 3rd.
