KipWellsFan
Is it just me or are Thomas's numbers really not that much better than last year's? He was great for the first half but he's totally fallen off after the break. Come on Frank. I don't want to hear people calling you the big skirt again. -As I type this he doubles, coincidence

He should atleast match last years rbi totals. But he's in a funk right now. I hope he snaps out of it soon...
witesoxfan
It's gotta be the DH-1B thing. What else could it be?
Chisoxfn
It's gotta be the DH-1B thing. What else could it be? Well thats his problem. ALthough I still don't know why the Sox can't let him play first once or twice a week with Konerko there the rest of the time. That play at first would only be minimal and it would give him time to freshen his mind and not think about hitting. Plus one of those days off for Konerko could be a day where he DH's and the other is a day where Daubach can play. Seems like a solid plan to me...thats why Manuel would never implement it. Al Lopez Ghost (old)
Through Thursday night, Frank's road numbers are 8 homers, 25 rbis, .244 batting average, in 5 more at bats than he has at home. Those are pretty bad numbers, real bad from the third spot in the lineup. Congrats to him, though on one thing. I think the double put him 3rd all time in Chisox hits, behind Luke and Nellie. Spiff
His average has dropped tremendously in the last few weeks. At one point about a month ago, he and Maggs had similar averages (.280-.290 range), now Maggs is like 60 points better.
