southsider2k5
QUOTE (flavum @ May 31, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) I've been saying he should replace Fukudome. 2-2, double, walk. Hitting .295. For as little as Robin uses his bench, no way. Let him play everyday.
oldsox
QUOTE (JPN366 @ May 31, 2012 -> 10:38 PM) The Barons box score is much more depressing. Kussmaul with another strong relief effort.
flavum
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 1, 2012 -> 07:59 AM) For as little as Robin uses his bench, no way. Let him play everyday. Maybe for a little while longer, but what's the end game here? Isn't he a 4th outfielder? That's what he would be. He could fill in anywhere in the outfield, pinch run and go in on defense. southsider2k5
QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 1, 2012 -> 08:53 AM) The "kid" is almost 26. He's also having the best year of his career.
NorthSideSox72
Danks is 26 in his 3rd year at AAA and still has a K/PA rate of 26.5%. He's not a future major league starter. Therefore, I'd be fine with him taking Fukudome's spot at this point. Ryan Kussmaul is 25 and an NDFA signing, but he's been pretty solid as B-Ham's closer. K rate is over a guy an inning, miniscule ERA... but the walk rate is a little high. My new AAP Mark Haddow on a 13 game hitting streak. Last 10 games: .486/.548/.622/1.169. Season so far: .332/.404/.495/.898.

Totally agreed, Fukodome has not found a place with RV. Bring up the kid and let him be the back up CF to give DeAza some rest once in a while. JPN366
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 1, 2012 -> 12:19 AM) Not sure why he would be anywhere but BIRM or CHAR. He's only got 7 games of AAA experience, but over 300 games played at AA, in the Southern League, reaching that level in 2008. He's bound to be promoted to at least Winston-Salem soon. He is at least 3 years older than every player on Kannapolis' roster. I didn't even think a 27 year old player was eligible to play in Low A ball.
