I can't complain about a ton of things with the Sox this year, but for the life of me, I do not understand Robin's fascination with Will Ohman.

Ohman is the only pitcher that is worse than Floyd at this point.

Never understood how giving up a home run makes you a p****

In fact, more often than not, it makes you the opposite of a p****. It takes guts to throw a fastball down the heart of the plate.

He gets lefties out. Everyone on Seattle is left handed.

Our other LHP are not that good against lefties

Gavin gets curveballs over early in the AB to lefites = good

Misses early with fastballs = bad

He needs to ditch the slide step. I'd rather he let the base runners run wild and focus more on getting more on his pitches.

Why would you go with Ohman over Santiago?

Doesn't make sense.

Santiago can go 2-3 innings if he has to, Ohman can't.

And mid 90's heat against their top four hitters (Montero's the one to watch out for, quiet so far)...is what they need more than high 87-91 MPH.

Even the worst of pitchers shouldn't be getting absolutely tattoo'd like this...4 homers in 4 innings. And the thing is, it's not like Gavin even has THAT bad of stuff today.

The ball park is lively today. :lolhitting

Thankfully Jaso got thrown out or it would be a 3 run lead.

You can't really blame Ventura 100% there, you have to try to get at least 4 innings from your starter....and the game was tied for the 2nd time.

If ever there's a game that was meant to go to the Mariners, it's probably this one. But we're still just one big swing away from the lead or a tie game.
