There should be a way of taking this victory away from all posters who were calling for Morel's return. We have a guy here who will make most the plays at third and will provide some semblance of a bat if his career indicates

Morel's back is screwed up right now. He got pulled from the AAA game today.

i love how hawk just keeps praising peavy and that it was a gutsy performance yet ripped edwin jackson when he had starts like that

Haha, true. I think its because we lost those games due to our anemic offense.

When did Hawk rip EJ for pitching 6 innings and letting up just 3ER?!?!

That's a really good point.

I couldn't be happier they won, but I respectfully disagree.

Nice interview with Hudson.

He sounded humbled as he tries to learn how to play third base. Kind of nice he got the game-winning RBI. He's obviously not trying to screw up at the hot corner, just not get his block knocked off as he learns.

I don't remember this point. I remember EJ giving up 6 runs in games like that, not 3.

Jake could have easily pitched a shutout...he was pretty unlucky in that second inning.

Hawk has no patience for guys that walk people...he always would get on Jose for that too...Contreras would give up two runs but because he walked 5 people, Hawk would be on his case the entire game.

Unfortunately, starts like this by Jake just makes me think he's losing it. Perhaps fatigue is already catching on. He hasn't had good stuff for his last 4-5 starts.
