RockRaines
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 10:05 AM) Corey Perry. Oh I dont consider him their top player but yeah he's one of their best. I forgot he was still suspended. Hossa and Sharp without Kane double shifting is a different team than we put on the ice last night. Plus Brookbank needs to never play again. bmags
I stopped watching 2nd period and was feeling great. Ducks are a good team, can't expect to beat them everytime. We'll get em later.

zenryan
whoever that is playing that video game must suck. To have only 8 goals scored against the CPU when playing 20 minute periods is pretty bad.
southsider2k5
Apparently Iginla listed the Hawks as a team he would accept a trade to. Could the Hawks fit him under the cap? http://www.chicagonow.com/red-light-distri...ded-to-chicago/
LittleHurt05
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 25, 2013 -> 09:27 AM) Apparently Iginla listed the Hawks as a team he would accept a trade to. Could the Hawks fit him under the cap? http://www.chicagonow.com/red-light-distri...ded-to-chicago/ I've been dreaming about trading for Iginla for two years now. According to capgeek, Hawks have $3,759,872 in cap space. Iginla's number is $7 mil, so if you prorate that for what's left in the season, I assume he would fit? southsider2k5
Not a great effort after the time off. The Hawks just didn't match intensity.

Having someone like Iginla would be nice, but I think the Hawks are fine when it comes to forwards. As long as Hossa and Sharp come back. If they are gonna make a trade for someone, I'd like to see a true second line center.

soxfan49
As soon as they dropped the puck tonight in Calgary, all of their fans were chanting "Iggy, Iggy." In an era where athletes are divas and demand trades when they don't have a chance to win, it's easy to appreciate the Jarome Iginla's of the world. That chant tonight gave me goosebumps. Wherever he ends up, I wish him the best.
