Crosby, Ovechkin, & Tavares are your Hart Trophy finals. Would have liked to see #19 up there, but can't complain about those picks.

Yup

Crosby missed like 15 games in a shortened season. Yes, he was a monster, but that matters. How Stamkos AND St. Louis miss the ballot is beyond me.

Yup

I hate the Ovechkin love. Is he a top-five offensive player in the league? Probably. But he doesn't give two s***s about defense. Toews is way more worthy than him. Ovechkin was plus 2 this year. I am not necessarily saying Toews should be in the top three for the Hart, but I have no doubt in my mind that he is more valuable than Ovechkin.

I'm OK with Crosby finishing top 3, at least.

Stamkos/St. Louis likely split a bunch of votes and the fact they missed the playoffs played into it too. Same goes for Brobrovsky.

Tampa was the 3rd worst team in the league. I know their defense was mostly to blame, but you aren't gonna get many MVP votes when your team is that bad.

Leading the lead in scoring has to count for something.

I remember when the Hawks were about 18 deep into their season opening streak and ESPN wrote an article that the Mighty Blues would be the team that would end up dethroning them in the playoffs

Whoops

A lot of people liked the Blues. They just got matched up with a team that is perfect for playoff hockey.

I'd still put that at the third best team in the West when it comes to the playoff teams.

I agree. I was hoping the Sharks or Wings would win, cause I sure as hell didn't want the Hawks to play the winner of the STL/LA series.

Bolland and Emery to return for Wings/Sharks series.

In practice today, Bolland took Stalberg's spot on the 3rd line and our old friend Ben Smith replaced Saad on the top line.

Benny Smith is on the playoff roster, after being in Rockford all year?? Weird.

I'd assume so. Bulls are scheduled for Friday, so can't go Wed/Fri. Tues/Thu would make the most sense.

That's what I was thinking, unless they want an off day after the game 7(s) tomorrow, then I could see them going Wed./Sat.? I just hope they announce it right after the Ducks game, I need to schedule my life.

Well there's already a break for the West, Monday.
