southsider2k5
Great 3rd period by the Hawks. The one thing this series has done is make me sad that Detroit is going back East. This is such a great rivalry, and not a BS one based on some cheap shots like Phoenix or Vancouver.
Rowand44
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 27, 2013 -> 09:44 PM) That last goal might be a blessing. Coach Q can harp on it and tell the Hawks it's obvious Detroit hasn't quit and will come to play. Game 7 should be insane. Hawks should be fired up out of their minds. If the Hawks win this series, who is next? Will the opponent be inferior to this one? Kings-Sharks have a 7th game too.
Noonskadoodle
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 27, 2013 -> 10:45 PM) Kings-Sharks have a 7th game too. & either will be a tall task. but nothing but the best left.

Yeah, one of the best rivalries will be lost. Detroit doesn't mind though because they won't have to lose to the Hawks so much in the future. CaliSoxFanViaSWside
3rd perod has been Detroit's Achilles heel all playoffs. Hawks tried to give it right back .After getting a power play ,Sharp gets a penalty to cancel it out . Then Hossa does the same thing.

Detroit doesn't mind though because they won't have to lose to the Hawks so much in the future. The Wings fans really hate Crosby and the Penguins. That could be a new rivalry. Jake
I'm feeling pretty upbeat at this point. I'll be infinitely more heartbroken if we lose it at home, in Game 7. Let's get it Hawks!
Brian
That was a fun 3rd period. Funny how fast Joe Louis cleared out, even with that goal with 51 secs left. I've watched more hockey this series then I have all season. This is ts pretty much the 3rd Game 7 in a row for the Hawks and you have to like their chances now. southsider2k5
Since 1987, the home teams are 91-53 in NHL game 7's. Of the 48 times a team has rallied from down 3-1 to tie a series at 3 games each, their record is exactly .500 in game 7 (24-24).
