thxfrthmmrs
Bad news, Fukudome is rehabbing.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Bruney starting? Also, Duente Heath is quietly having a great season. WHIP under 1.00, K/9 at 11.34, BB/9 at 2.43. ERA at 1.89. That's very nice.
ChiliIrishHammock24
Also, Micah Johnson went 3/5 with a 2B in his GF debut, 2 weeks after being drafted.
fathom
Heath is just destroying righties this year. I imagine he'll be promoted in the next few months.
Jake
Bruney could have started against the Cubs today and Soxtalk would have been far happier
fathom
QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 05:43 AM) Bruney could have started against the Cubs today and Soxtalk would have been far happier Good luck having an ERA below 2 in AAA, Mr. Stewart. It will be interesting to see how well he does once he gets demoted. They should send him down with the thought process that he won't get promoted again this year and to work on becoming a starter. SoxAce
G-F mostly highlights pitchers to watch, but Micah Johnson will be a nice little hitting prospect to follow down there. Tough day for Abe Ruiz in his first professional debut.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 11:45 PM) Good luck having an ERA below 2 in AAA, Mr. Stewart. It will be interesting to see how well he does once he gets demoted. They should send him down with the thought process that he won't get promoted again this year and to work on becoming a starter. I'd love to see him strictly as a starter and see if he can transition. He was awful out of the pen.
NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 12:07 AM) G-F mostly highlights pitchers to watch, but Micah Johnson will be a nice little hitting prospect to follow down there. Tough day for Abe Ruiz in his first professional debut. Speaking of that... one of my AAP's, Keegan Linza, is apparently now a starter? Or at least at this point he is. Might just be keeping the spot warm. Had a decent outing.
MnSoxFan
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 05:41 PM) Speaking of that... one of my AAP's, Keegan Linza, is apparently now a starter? Or at least at this point he is. Might just be keeping the spot warm. Had a decent outing. Read in the Great Falls paper that Brian Drahman (the pitching coach there) said Linza earned it with his pitching. Said his control has been outstanding. NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (MnSoxFan @ Jun 19, 2012 -> 12:26 PM) Read in the Great Falls paper that Brian Drahman (the pitching coach there) said Linza earned it with his pitching. Said his control has been outstanding. So he is a starter now? Very interesting, thanks for the info.
