When you play the worst team in baseball at home, you should win. Not asking a lot.

Especially with the Sox facing Wood, Wells, and Fiers the next few games, it's not a lot to ask for quality starts from Peavy, Floyd, and Sale the next three games with the offense scoring enough. The Sox need the next three, and then hope for the best against Greinke vs Humber.

Whoever started the game thread for the long winning streak needs to be deemed official game thread started from now until the break.

Thanks

In 2007, the Sox interleague record was a sparkling 4-14. If you flip those numbers, they're 82-80 instead of 72-90. It doesn't change the outcome of the season with Cleveland and Detroit having 96 and 88 win seasons, but getting railroaded by the NL series after series had to have been demoralizing and affected things to an extent.

I abhor losing to the NL.

The Sox won the BP cup when they swept the Cubs at Wrigley. Tie goes to last year's winner.

I will go rioting! Who is with me?

I'm up for a riot. I haven't been to a good riot since Sly and the Family Stone didn't show up for a free concert in Grant Park, 1970.
