In the last two months, over 19 2/3 innings, he has 27Ks vs. 1BB? Leyson Septimo with 25Ks and 8BBs over 17 innings in the last 2 months? Several other relievers having very strong seasons. Hard to know what exactly is going on...I'm sure they wish he had been more productive this year but who knows what he's been working on or what the exact problem seems to be. He still needs more experience, at the least. I really like Castro and it seems like we've taken care of those control issues. Because if they really believe this...no matter how many articles they write, they're not going to build up Leesman's trade value, he's going to have to prove it in the bigs. When he was drafted, he had a hell of an arm. Had all kinds of injuries and he never got off the ground. I'm incredibly intrigued about him. If he's healthy, he might be a flash in the pan (e.g., get hurt again) but if his stuff is back to what it was, that would put the Sox in a great position.
