chw42
Liriano's been ridiculously good lately. He's got a 3.33 ERA in June to go along with a 2.93 FIP. He's striking out over 9 per 9 again and he's keeping his walks down. Jake needs to be on his game.
LittleHurt05
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 25, 2012 -> 08:49 AM) Liriano's been ridiculously good lately. He's got a 3.33 ERA in June to go along with a 2.93 FIP. He's striking out over 9 per 9 again and he's keeping his walks down. Jake needs to be on his game. In Liriano's last 5 starts, he has faced the 24th, 25th, 27th, 11th, & 29th ranked offenses. Sox are currently 7th.
chw42
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 25, 2012 -> 09:05 AM) In Liriano's last 5 starts, he has faced the 24th, 25th, 27th, 11th, & 29th ranked offenses. Sox are currently 7th. Yeah, I just looked at his gamelog, he really didn't face any good offensive teams... But still, the fact that he is pitching well is a bad sign. We all know how good Liriano can be.

hawkjt
Sox struggle vs lefties anyway, and Liriano is hot. The Sox offense has been shut down 4 times in the last 7 games. Jake is coming off of a 125 pitch outing. This is gonna be a tough game.

The lineup I'd like to see: CF De Aza 3B Youk DH Dunn 1B Konerko C Pierzynski RF Rios LF Viciedo 2B Beckham SS Ramirez The lineup we will probably see: CF De Aza 2B Beckham DH Dunn 1B Konerko C Pierzynski 3B Youk RF Rios LF Viciedo SS Ramirez

ChiSox_Sonix
I was thinking about where Youk would bat as well and I think it has to be 7 or 8. Beckham has really started hitting the ball well and I don't think you move him from the 2 spot where he seems comfortable and productive. I'd also rather not drop Viciedo below 7 so Youkilis really should be batting 8 in front of Alexei

Eminor3rd
Sox have struggled vs. lefties, but they also tend to feast on hard-throwers. I wouldn't be surprised if we won tonight and dropped the next two against whatever soft-tossing garbage the Twins will trot out.

He has been up for like 3 weeks, I dont think they have his jersey in high demand at this point.
