I saw on twitter that Broussard reported that D Rose tore his ACL in rehab. Anyone confirm?

Looks like he posted it 4 hours ago, but no one else has picked up on it. Not sure what to think right now.

Wonder if thats the Rose camp trying to control things or maybe he was mistaken or hacked.

With how the FA market has been playing off so far, any chance Bulls get Howard on a last minute desperate ALL IN decision to compete (on both sides)?

about the only real impact move the Bulls could make, which would make me feel really good about the squad going forward, is getting Howard. I don't think it will happen, but part of me says, screw it, go all in and hope he'll sign later on. Do the Bulls lose out the ability to offer a longer deal to Dwight then anyone else, since he wouldn't spend a full year with the team?

Dallas fans are going nuts. In my extreme pipedream, Dirk gets restless too and Bulls trade for him at midseason. Yeah.

The problem with Dirk is the Bulls might be solid this year, but really, they are a year away from being able to contend again. Getting Dirk could make the Bulls a contender next year and the following year, but after that they are in trouble. Dwight would put them in a spot that they could do it next year, but then in the following years they would be legit. Worse case I'd structure the deal where if Dwight walks, you'd clear cap space and could make other moves. Be ballsy and just try and win Dwight over when he's here. To be frank, staying with the status quo doesn't do the Bulls any good, so might as well do this.

There's some grumblings that the Bulls might match the Asik offer. Shoot me in the f***ing eyeball if that happens.

Best case scenario for the Bulls is to deal Asik before he actually signs the deal. Otherwise, if they ink him, they have to hold him for a year. The key is if they keep him, they'd have to move him prior to when Gibson becomes due (cause Gibson is far more valuable). Bulls screwed up. They should have moved Asik at the deadline, but no one could have known that Rose would end up going down (and a team expecting to win a title isn't going to trade a guy like Asik). What the Bulls need to do is start figuring out ways to get salary cap exceptions via trade (like the Lakers did when the dealt Odom). Those can come in extremely handy when you are over the cap (as long as you are willing to potentially be willing to pay some tax).

He has too much interest from other teams. He'll get more than the MLE. Unless he wants to take a Chicago discount, but i'm not sure why he would.

His wife and kid still live here and he loves Chicago. I have a business right by the Berto center and all the Bulls and coaches come in. Kurt was heartbroken when he was traded and he still comes in during the summer months. I would always kid with him and say, when you coming back to the Bulls. He would always reply with, I wish.

Yeah, get whatever you can for him, even draft picks.

I'm like 99% sure you can't trade a guy once he signs an offer sheet.

Jalen Rose says Allen to Miami

If true, I'm surprised. Thought Ray had a little bit more ego than that. Anyway, get ready for Heat vs Thunder/Lakers next year.

So apparently Ray hates Rondo; big reason why he decided not to resign with Boston.

Well maybe hell get hurt and someone from the west will have a shot at them in the playoffs.

Sigh.

Ray is just overkill at this point. They don't even need him. If 'Bron, sissy and other sissy are healthy, they're the favorites.

Oh, and somebody needs to tell Rose that not wanting to recruit because you believe/don't want to disrespect your teammates isn't really accomplishing anything. You've got a torn ACL to recover from and multiple superteams to deal with. It might not mean anything. But yes, if a superstar, or even a f***ing all-star, is out there somewhere, make it known that you WANT him. The guy did win an MVP at 22, and I would imagine that gives him some clout. Don't worry about hurting Deng or Noah's feelings.

LeBron recruited him. Hard.
