The recent "build up" to his return has been dramatic.

Bulls basketball wasn't the same this year without him.

With 1.7%, he fell into our hands in 2008.

His ascend to the MVP two years ago was the best story happened to Chicago sports since WS WS.

He is Chicago basketball. He is Chicago's favorite son.

I might shred a tear when they finally annouce "From Chicagooo...."

All the thought towards the composition of the Bulls right now is based on one playoff series. Let's let it play out a bit. With our salary situation, it really doesn't make sense to try much of anything drastic until after next season anyway.

Come onnnn D Rose

@WojYahooNBA

Lakers offering Steve Blake, Chris Duhon, Devin Ebanks, Darius Morris for 2nd-rounders, sources say. Looking to unload, free roster spots.

@WojYahooNBA

Orlando has secured offers of first-round picks for J.J. Redick, sources tell Y! Sports. So far, those belong to teams drafting in the 20's.

So the Kings draft Thomas Robinson over Damian Lillard and then trade him before he even finishes his rookie season. And then they wonder why they suck...

Would new ownership have a say on this yet or is it still the Maloofs? I was really surprised by this, but it only makes sense to me if it was maloofs trying to unload cash, but i'm not sure what patrick patterson makes.

There are plenty of other stars who have been, and who are on the block in the NBA. The Bulls will do nothing to attempt to get them. They are too worried about the luxury tax instead of titles.

I'm down with this complaint, but bringing it up when the big attraction is Josh Smith doesn't make any sense. That guy doesn't make a team any better.

I'm told Bulls definitely not moving Boozer & unlikely to do anything

One exec involved in talks w/ATL for J Smith now saying "50/50 chance he gets traded." That's a downgrade from yesterday

I watched J Smith last night against the Heat, played a nice game dishing out dimes, real nice passes. Of course he took dumb 3pters but really other than that, played a nice all around game. He is talented but not at the price he's asking for.

I'm going with a week from tomorrow vs Philly as a real possibility for his return.

Also it be kinda cool to come back against the team it happened against

I'm going Sunday vs OKC for the ultimate birthday present for me. :)

Bulls have no deals in waiting as trade deadline passes. Was told they talked to Nuggets about Hamilton but nothing doing.

i'm surprised they're going to pay the luxury tax for the first time ever
