I want to see the Heat lose. Pacers get over 70 points from West/Hibbert/George and still lose. Heat hadn't played in a week. This is the game the underdog has to get to have any chance. Brian
Even with Hibbert on the bench, that was just awful by Indiana. Gotta make Lebron shoot that off balance. Ridiculous. Play off him a bit even. Only saw the 2nd half and beyond but they have to be able to do quick reviews on disputed out of bounds calls. There were 3 I saw that went to the Heat that should have went to the Pacers. This is the playoffs. Especially in a close game. Hell use the inbounds defender to run at him to try to keep him from catching the ball first, but then immediately double teaming. All you have to do is kill 2.2 seconds. Embarrassingly bad. RockRaines
Why did they not go into a zone defense in that situation? Guard the hoop.
Quin
Mavs are shopping the #13 and trying to clear cap space. Rip + $1M (Buyout) + Teague for #13 and Vince Carter? As long as the Mavs made the pick for the Bulls then made the trade after (Similar to the Bulls "drafting" Kevin Seraphin), it would be legal. Try to walk away with something like Shabazz and Dieng in the first round and a rookie PG in the 2nd. I know I'm a Mizzou student but I feel Flip Pressey would be a good pick as he can get to the rim, distribute the ball, and defend with his big downsides being he is short and can't shoot for s*** (though still probably better than Teague). Roll with this: PG: Rose/Hinrich/Pressey SG: Butler/Carter SF: Deng/Shabazz PF: Boozer/Taj/Thomas C : Noah/Dieng/Nazr

fathom
Pressey supposedly looked really bad at a workout yesterday. As for Shabazz, I'd rather have Caldwell-Pope. Shabazz reminds me so much of Xavier Henry.

It's very disappointing that just 3 years ago, this guy was going to be the next Kobe, killer instinct and winning attitude and all. Now he probably won't even be a starter in the league. Now he probably won't even be a starter in the league. Maybe he will still, but it's a matter of being in the right situation. He is honestly the guy that, as a very inexperienced fan, intrigues me the most. I could see him becoming a big time scoring threat, a backup type who eventually falls to 11th or 12th man territory, or he could fall completely out of the league.
